Listen my basic human empathy does feel genuine horror for those people who most likely died in that submarine.

But my working logical brain is also scoffing at anyone stupid enough to spend 250k to get into a heavy metal coffin, sinking to see the ocean floor graveyard that is the titanic.

Hey, so I’d like to say thank you to all who are accepting us Reddit refugees. As someone who’s always wanted to get into Tumblr, I guess I never officially did, until the Reddit blackout. I mean I created an account a while back to lurk at awesome and lovely fanart but this recent controversy made me flee here.

Been kinda sad, disappointed, but not surprised that Reddit is heading towards the direction thanks to spez.

So, I’d like to say thank you once more for accepting us :)

I love that the memes and style of posting Redditors are bringing over are very Tumblr-esque but they're not quite the same, with just enough distinction they have an ever so slight different vibe to them.

It's like convergent evolution where we've both got wings but one's leathery, the other feathery, or we're both large aquatic swimmers but one has gills, the other a blowhole, and we inhabit slightly different but potentially overlapping niches.

Twitter users on the other hand evolved from us after leaving the population and are now unrecognisable.

i do find it very funny how people here seem to continuously make posts/memes about the fact that the destiel meme keeps trending, how much they hate it, or how much they love it, or something along the lines of "could you stop trending for FIVE MINUTES", but in doing so, have actively contributed to the number of posts tagged with supernatural and the destiel meme, making it trend even more
